Alex Cox-Cuzzi

I've spent my career at the intersection of marketing, business development, and systems — and I built Zandra Group because that intersection is where growth in the age of AI actually happens.

I started at Implus (formerly TriggerPoint), managing a $1.5M marketing budget across six multi-million-dollar consumer brands on Amazon and Walmart, and supporting the company through a $20M acquisition. From there I moved venture-side — first at True Wealth Ventures, the first woman-run and -funded venture capital firm in Texas, then at NextSeed and Republic, where I advised 20 to 40 portfolio companies at a time on go-to-market strategy and fundraising, helping them raise more than $10M under Regulation CF.

In 2022, I built and ran CarePatrol of Central Houston — a senior-placement business — from the ground up: referral network, demand-generation systems, and a compliance-aware operating model inside a regulated healthcare environment. It generated 650+ consultations, 110 placements, and $450K+ in revenue before its sale. That business is where I learned, firsthand, what it takes to grow a relationship-driven business without a marketing department.
